Charlie Dieruf: OF/RHP, (2024) Covington Catholic, KY. 6-foot-1, 200-pound. (70.3 mph bat speed average). (22.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, displayed a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2247; Avg 2197). His 11/5 curveball had gradual action. (Max spin 1966; Avg 1706).
Body: 6-foot-1, 190-pound.
Hit: (RHH) Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Quick bat speed. Balanced finish, level swing.
Defense: (OF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, natural exchange. Solid. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally.
Arm: 85 mph outfield velocity. Consistent arm action, high ¾ slot.
Speed: 6.90 (60-yard).

Hit: Pre loaded approach with hands close to body creating an easy smooth bat path that stays level across the zone.
Power: 76mph exit velo with a max distance of 268 feet.
Offensive Projection: Line drive pull hitter.
