+ '27 RHP Hayden Henry (Breckinridge County, Kentucky) made at statement at this event and undoubtedly walks away as the biggest winner. There is a loose whip to the arm action to pair with a supremely projectable, wiry, 6-foot-6, 182 pound frame. The fastball played at 86-89 with occasional sink, above average extension, and he ran it up 90 mph on his best bullet. With still 30-plus pound left on the frame, the velocity should continue to tick with more strength gains. He showed two usable off-speed offerings, including a tight, 72-74 mph slurve and a 79-82 mph changeup that showed flashes of a plus pitch, though inconsistent for now. Henry's bullpen was executed with above-average control. The delivery has room for refinements with some rawness present that will likely clean up with strength, maturation, and more mound time. Though just one look in a bullpen setting, I am extremely bullish on the ceiling of this sophomore arm out of Kentucky, and he is a name to keep tabs on for recruiters leading up to August 1.
