2/12/17 - 60 Time: 7.26, Position Velocity: OF-79, Exit Velocity: 82
9/24/16 - Max FB: 79, FB: 77-78, CB: 66-69, CH: 72-74
6-foot-2, 158-pound RHP with projectable frame, delivery has occasional effort, long arm action works through a high-3/4 slot, slight stiffness, shows ability to throw strikes with three pitches, fastball is mostly straight, curveball is solid as the best ones had sharp 11/5 action and depth, changeup showed some sink and fade but could use more velocity difference to be most effective. Price is one to watch from the 2019 class.
60 Time: 7.10, Position Velocity: OF-80, Exit Velocity: 91
6-foot-2, 158-pound, RHH flashed solid tools with big upside. Starts slightly open and loads back with a slight leg kick into a mid-length stride, showed very good bat speed in an impressive round if BP where he consistently produce hard line drive contact, solid swing path with good extension through contact. Has ability to move well in the outfield and play through the ball with athleticism, solid arm strength with very accurate throws from a high-3/4 release. Price has solid across the board tools and is certainly one to watch from the 2019 class.
10/18/15 - 6-foot-1, 150-pound RHP, lanky build with good projectability, works from the stretch only, arm action is long and works through a high-3/4 slot with normal effort, fastball shows occasional slight arm side run at 69-71 mph topping at 72, showed a developing 56-58 mph curveball with gradual 11/5 action that he was able to throw for strikes, also showed a 63-65 mph cutter with curveball like action, shows ability to throw strikes and pitch to contact, allowed two hits and walked one in his two innings of work while working a perfect second inning.
As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from an open stance, loads back with a leg kick and uses a long stride, uses lower half well with good finish through the baseball, loose hands, average bat speed, 72 mph exit velocity off the tee, went 0-for-3 in game play with a SAC fly, ran 4.94 down the line, offensive game will continue to evolve with added physical strength. Plays through the ball in the outfield with a quick/clean exchange, sets up well on fly balls, long ¾ release with solid arm strength for age at 77 mph. Price is young player to keep an eye on as he fills out his frame
