5-foot-8, 160-pound RHH hits from an open stance, loads up with a big leg kick, short stride, foot gets down late occasionally, quick hands and strong use of lower half generate above average bat speed, hard line drive contact to the middle of the field when he squared it up. Plays through the ball with a two-handed approach, shows athletic actions, uses a pronounced crow hop, long over the top release with solid arm strength and carry on throws. Have seen better 60 time (7.35).

As a pitcher, uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot with some effort in delivery, quick arm, shows ability to pound the strike zone with all pitches, fastball is mostly straight, curveball shows sharp 11/5 action and throws is consistently at the bottom of the strike zone, changeup is solid with good fading action and thrown with good arm speed. Mudd has stayed consistent with his velocity since last summer.

6/16/15 - 5-foot-8, 155-pounds, quick arm works through a high-3/4 slot, lands square, has some effort in delivery, fastball sat 81-83 mph touching 84 once, fastball is mostly straight, 70-71 mph curveball shows 11/5 action and good depth, has good feel for the curveball, throws strikes with the two-pitch mix, allowed no hits and struck out two (both on fastballs) in his one inning of work. As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from a slightly open stance, short stride, short swing path, line drive type hitter who shows some pop for size, gap to gap approach, bat speed present, 88 mph exit velocity, ran 4.59 down the line, went 0-for-4 in game play making hard contact on a few occasions. Good defensive outfielder, plays through the ball well, athletic actions, long over the top release, good arm strength with online carry, 86 mph velocity.
