The uncommitted senior right-hander was forced to miss last season due to having Tommy John surgery and has made the most of his senior so far. Heiden got the start last Thursday for the Tigers against Mandeville, and was spectacular. He filled up the zone from his first pitch and until his last, on route to throwing a complete game no-hitter with 1 BB and 5 K's on 71 pitches (50 strikes | 21 balls). His FB sat in the 82-85 mph range and he was able to command to the outer-half of the plate to both RHH's & LHH's, while mixing in an "11-5" shaped CB for strikes.
