Physical 6’1” 190 lbs. frame. Two way prospect. RHP started in the middle of the rubber and worked to the left side through his windup. Athletic delivery with a short and over the top arm action produced a max FB velocity of 76 mph, sitting 74-75 mph. Some late life on the 4 seam FB. CB was “11-5” shape and was landed for strikes at 64-66 mph. CH was a little firm at 68-70 mph with some late running action. Repeatable mechanics profile as a future starter. RHH starts in an upright and balanced set-up with hands held just below shoulder height. “Toe-tap” load used to get back to center. Came out of lower half at times with a flat bat path and extension that worked to the 3B side. Max exit velocity of 86 mph with some pull side power. Athletic actions in the infield. Caught the ball a little deep at times releasing the ball from a high ¾ arm slot that produced a 77 mph positional velocity. Recorded a 7.62 in the 60.
Solid 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a small load, then used a toe tap to start his swing. Had quick bat speed and an uphill swing plane, he ended his swing with level finish. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 68 mph; has raw hands and quick footwork. Throws from an-over-the-top slot.He clocked a time of 7.94 in the 60-yard dash. Advanced on the mound, he showed quick arm speed, had an over-the-top angle and a short arm action. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses some effort. Has an athletic balance point and even shoulders. Has a falling off finish and lands square. Clocked sitting at 66-70 mph and topped out at 70 mph; has tailing action. His curveball (60-63) has in the zone command and swing and miss action.
