Sits on his back leg, driving his back knee through the ground to create power. Direct bat path with level extension.
Power: Max exit velocity of 85 mph.
Arm: Low ¾ release. Short and quick arm action. INF velocity of 81 mph.
Defense: Athletic footwork. Did a good job of positioning his body to receive the ball out front with soft hands.
Run: Posted a 7.13 in the 60.
Athletic 5’10” 170 lbs. frame with some room to add strength as he matures. Starts on the left side of the rubber and stays there throughout his delivery. Quick and deliberate windup landing with shoulders and lower half square to the plate after each pitch. Brings the ball up quickly, releasing it from a ¾ arm slot that produced a max FB velocity of 76 mph, sitting 72-75 mph. CB was “10-4” and shaped more like a slurve, sitting 61-63 mph with average spin. SL was shaped similarly to the CB and sat 62-64 mph. CH had some late fading actions when he stayed behind the pitch and sat 62-65 mph. RHH starts in a slightly open, balanced set-up with minimal movement in his hands.
