Projectable at the plate, Wilson was ranked 2nd with an exit velocity of 93 mph.Begins in an athletic narrow stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed is quick developing, uses a flat loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 82 mph; had a natural exchange, developing hands, and developing in control footwork. Fielded the ball to the side with developing athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Had a long loose swing plane, developing bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with loud contacts. Line drive approach. Capable and athletic in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 80 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic developing. While catching, throw downs to second were maxed at 72 mph; showed developing feet, a lengthy natural transfer, and soft hands. he had a pop time of 2.20-2.30. Clean setup. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.28.
