A left-handed hitting first baseman, front foot starts slightly open, lower half under control with a smooth leg raise. Swing is level through the zone, finishes with two hands, looks to drive it to all fields. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 90 mph, has an advanced approach at the plate. Defensively, solid target to throw to. Moves well around the bag, feet work with easy effort. Showed soft hands on all picks and the catch. Looks to field out front, gets low to ground, feet were quick in starting the 3-6 play. The arm works from a higher slot, clocked at 71 mph. Look for him to hit at a high level, overall conditioning is a must, will aid in his development.
