5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. The delivery is online and athletic. The arm swing is clean and free. The tempo of the delivery is solid and he repeats. The fastball sat 87-88 mph with arm side run. He showed good command of the fastball. The slider with 74-75 mph with biting action on it. He is a good one to see this summer.
Chase Edgar: SS/RHP, (2026) Austin Prep, NH. 5-foot-11, 155-pound lean athletic build. Athletic and projectable during batting practice, Edgar clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is developing quickly, uses an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic and projectable while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 80 mph; had athletic developing footwork, a developing exchange, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot and a quick loose arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.48 at the event. Projectable on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent loose arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Has in line shoulder and consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-79 mph; showed command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2302; Avg 2021). Shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone control on his curveball (66-68). (Max spin 2489; Avg 2408).
