Colin Mont: RHP/3B, (2026) Xaverian Brothers, MA. 5-foot-9, 144-pound lean athletic frame. Capable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. (62.8 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced wide stance with a wrapping handsy load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, showed a loose flat swing plane and level finish. Produced loud contact and found some barrels. Line drive approach. Capable in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; shows developing hands, developing consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Athletic and projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose consistent arm action while showing quick developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 76-77 mph; shows control arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2075; Avg 1922). Showed glove side around the zone control and sweeping action on his curveball (64-65). (Max spin 1641; Avg 1553).
