Gabe Knudsen: RHP/1B, (2024) Hanover, MA. 6-foot-1, 179-pound athletic projectable build. Above average and projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 92 mph. (71.6 mph bat speed average). (21.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a controlled stride. Has an uphill loose swing plane, developing quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic projectable in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 86 mph; had a clean natural exchange, soft sure hands, and consistent athletic footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.6 at the event. Above average and projectable on the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a loose quick arm action while showing above average arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Has in line shoulder and consistent balance point. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 86-87 mph; shows control arm side in the zone and running action. (Max spin 2368; Avg 2312). His changeup (75-76) had arm side control and gradual fading action. Showed slurvey action and glove side around the zone control on his slider (71-72).
