Jack Reyes: RHP/2B, (2025) Weymouth, MA. 5-foot-9, 160-pound athletic lean frame. Capable and athletic at the plate, Reyes clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. (66.0 mph bat speed average). (21.8 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Has a flat loose swing plane, developing bat speed and good extension on his finish. He barreled up some balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic and capable while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; had developing soft hands, developing athletic footwork, and a natural clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Projectable and athletic on the mound, showing developing quick arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Displays in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-83 mph; had running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2080; Avg 1930). His changeup (74-75) showed arm side feel control and gradual fading action. Throws a tight slider (70-71) with glove side control and slurvey action.
