The 4-foot-6, 70 pound left-handed hitting infielder/catcher had a tee exit velocity of 57 mph. The stance is balanced and square initially. He them moves the weight to the backside before starting the swing. As the swing begins, the weight remains on the back leg and the bat head takes a slightly lifted angle to contact. He works well through the ball after contact.
In the outfield, the arm registered at 51 mph. The approach to the ball was good. The feet stayed under control moving into the fielding position. The glove was also in a good fielding position. As he moves through the ball he stays in line with the target.
Behind the plate, he sets up a little tall with the glove centered in the chest. The transition from glove to hand is good. The hips do drift toward 3B as he works into the throwing position. The arm is clean and showed at 50 mph.
