Tower has a projectable 6-foot, 180 pound frame. The right-handed hitting prospect had a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. The stance begins out of a balanced, relaxed set-up. The hands have some pre-pitch movement to create some rhythm with the swing. The load begins with a big leg kick. The hand-speed is evident with his swing and the lower half is active. He showed the ability to drive some balls to the pull side during the event.
Behind the plate, the set-up is balanced with the glove relaxed in the center of the body. His feet move well as he transitions to throw. As he works out of his stance, he does stand up quick out of his stance, cancelling out some of the momentum for the feet. The glove transfer is good and he extends through his throws. At this event, he was 69 mph from behind the plate.
In the infield, he was 71 mph across the diamond. The feet move well to get him into a good fielding position. The glove is behind the eyes, out in front. As he works through the ground ball, he gets into a good line with the target. The arm-swing is clean and he extends well, through his throws.
