5-foot-7, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher and third baseman. Threw 70 mph from behind the dish. The transfer is clean and the arm works. The slot is short and clean to throw from. Does tend to step on the plate during the transfer, need to eliminate stepping on the plate. Showed the ability to have a soft glove during the receiving process. Needs to continue to work on securing the catch and handling secondary pitches. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 85 mph, advanced at his age. The set up is open with the front foot, closes down as the ball approaches. The path is flat and direct to contact. Gets good hand separation to initiate the swing and finishes through the ball well.
