5-foot-8, 170-pound left-handed hitting catcher. The bat has good life to it as the hands are clean and quick. The exit velocity off the bat was 89 mph. The foot speed is solid, running a 7.39 sixty.
Nicolas Cirone: C/OF, (2027) TBD, MA. is a 5-foot-5, 135-pound catching prospect. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 76 mph with a (56.4 mph bat speed average) and (16.5 mph hand speed average). He begins in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed just off the back shoulder. A short stride starts a simple, flat swing with good extension. During his rounds, Cirone showed the ability to work gap to gap and remain balanced throughout. Defensively, Cirone was up to 61 mph during throw downs, with a pop time range of 2.56-2.60. His initial setup is clean. His feet are square, the chest is tall and the glove is relaxed in the center of the chest. As he transitioned to throw, he showed soft hands, a clean transfer, and consistent smooth feet. He also recorded a time of 8.33 in the 60-yard dash.
