(21.48 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a long stride. Bat speed is average, exhibits a long loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up some balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.9. Above average on the mound, showing above average arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a quick loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-84 mph; has running action and command around the zone with heavy movement. Showed athletic balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 82-84 mph; had sinking action and control around the zone. Had a 11/5 curveball (70-73) that showed sweeping action and around the zone control. Shows in the zone command and sinking action on his changeup (75-76). I like his chances on the mound.
