Sam Seaton: OF/RHP, (2025) Roxbury Latin, MA. 6-foot-2, 175-pound projectable athletic build. Projectable and above average during batting practice, Seaton had an exit velocity of 87 mph. (70.3 mph bat speed average). (21.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a small load, then used a closed small stride. Had above average developing bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Projectable and athletic recorded an outfield position velocity of 81 mph; has a developing clean exchange, athletic developing feet, and soft developing hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a loose arm action and a high slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.15. Projectable athletic on the mound, had a high arm angle and a loose arm action with above average arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with a falling off shoulders during delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-79 mph; has running action and control arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2081; Avg 1913). Throws a 11/5 curveball (66-66) that shows glove side around the zone control and sweeping action. (Max spin 1869; Avg 1759).
