6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed arm from the Hurricanes program in New Hampshire. The arm is clean, comes at the hitter slightly above ¾. The frame projects as the arms are long and lanky. The delivery is athletic and on-line. Small coil at the top of the lift and glove pull away from the plate, prior to foot strike. Fastball touched 82 mph with late life to it. Threw a breaking ball, which was slurvy, touching 73 mph. The changeup has a chance to be an above average pitch, it sat at 78 mph. Good looking long and loose arm that should be followed by all the D1 schools in New England. Really like him on the bump.
6/29/16
Left-handed pitcher with a higher than ¾ arm slot and showed good athleticism. The delivery possesses a clean arm swing. The front side, glove side is nonexistent right now as he is doing a great deal of work with just his arm. A posted glove side would help him immensely. The fastball is 78 mph with good life to it. The breaking ball has the right shape, 69 mph. Changeup is 67 mph and has a chance to be a plus pitch. Positionally, ran a 4.32 down the line and did it easily. The glove and throwing arm are solid in the outfield. Threw 74 mph from the outfield. Worked out at first base as well, throwing 75 mph across the diamond. The glove is solid, he could play there easily. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even footed with even hands with a long flat path. The bat needs strength as does the frame. Good looking prospect.
