Tom Pender: 3B/SS, (2025) Roxbury Latin School, MA. 5-foot-10, 190-pound athletic solid frame. Projectable and above average at the plate, Pender had an exit velocity of 92 mph. (75.0 mph bat speed average). (20.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was above average quick, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 76 mph. Behind the plate, had athletic consistent footwork, soft sure hands, and a natural clean transfer. Using a loose short arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the base from a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.47. (Max spin ; Avg ).

Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had a ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the bag.
