(20.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Had quick bat speed, loose flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 80 mph; showed athletic developing feet, a natural clean exchange, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing athletically. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.87.
