MD Unsigned Senior Games 8.7.18

Athletic, lanky 6-foot-1, 175 pound frame. Pitches from a closed stretch position. Quick leg kick and some lower half drive. Remains inline with the plate through delivery landing square with an athletic finish. Longer, whippy arm action throwing from a sidearm slot with easy effort. Fastball sat 71-74 mph and touched 77 mph. Breaking ball was 63-64 mph with some sweeping 10/4 action. Change-up was 71-72 mph with late fade.

MD Top Prospect Games 6.19.18

Athletic, lanky 6-foot-1, 175 pound frame. Pitches from a closed stretch position. Uses a short, quick, small leg kick and gets average lower half involvement. Stays inline with the plate through delivery landing square in an athletic finish. Long, whippy arm action throwing from a sidearm slot with easy effort. Fastball was up to 77 mph, with a 10/4 shape breaking ball with gradual action at 63-6 mph, and a 71-72 mph changeup with nice late fade.

2.19.17 - Frame has gotten more athletic and stronger at 6-foot, 170 pounds. Hits from an atletic, slightly open setup. Short load with hands at shoulder level. Short swing path with average bat speed and some rhythm. Nice foundation, needs to continue to add strength. Solid footwork at first base. Clean exchange with shorter arm action and infield velo of 71 mph. Exit velocity of 76 mph. --- Angles from windup in delivery with short rocker and high leg lift. Works down to out with some hip load. Nice backside drive getting hips through. Slight stab after break into a sound arm action from a three quarter slot. Creates some arm speed through release. Fastball is straight up to 77 mph. Breaking ball has short break to the pitch with 11/5 shape and gradual break. When he keeps good arm speed, pitch has later action. Changeup shows fade to the pitch and should have sharper action with better arm speed. Good frame to build upon as he adds strength.
 
6.1.16 - Athletic frame with room to fill at 6-foot-0, 160-pounds. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Hits from a open set up. Smooth load with a long stride that lands closed. Level path to the ball and uphill through contact with some extension. Exit velo of 75 mph. Active feet from 3B. Short arm action throwing from a ¾ arm slot. Throws across the diamond at 68 mph...Athletic frame with room to fill at 6-foot-0, 160-pounds. Throws from a ¾ arm slot with regular effort. Balanced delivery with a loose arm action. Good rhythm down the mound. Pitched 73 - 74 mph. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with gradual break. Throws breaking ball 61 – 64 mph. Throws change up with slight fade to it at 68 – 69 mph.
