Athletic body type and projectable frame with room to grow and fill out. Hits from a compact, balanced, square stance. Small, controlled leg kick and short stride. Level swing path with some bat speed and good extension past contact. Showed some pop roping a double to the left field fence in the Walkersville game. Also showed some catch and throw ability. Interesting 2021 prospect to take a look at.
MD Fall Invitational
Athletic body type and 6-foot, 160 pound frame with room to grow. Hits from a balanced, athletic, slightly crouched, square stance at the plate. Smooth, rhythmic back load and small leg kick. Creates nice separation showed a short, compact stroke and level path. Strong lower half involvement with some bat speed and an exit velo of 81 mph. Swings the bat with intent and stays behind the ball well. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with occasional pop. Quiet body receiving behind the plate. Quick footwork, squares shoulders to second base and showed clean exchanges. Very accurate on throws putting the ball on the money at second base four out of five times with pop times ranging 2.13-2.16. Throws with short arm action from a mid three-quarters slot at 70 mph. Also ran a 7.51 60-yard dash.
