Flashed some speed and athleticism while turning out a 6.71 60 time. Athletic stance at the plate, small leg lift, and lands on line at foot strike. Hands make minimal load back, short path to the ball with some uphill tilt, and finishes lower half completely. Swing worked gap to gap and Montgomery posted an exit velocity of 80 mph. Under control on approach from the outfield, feet were active and worked through the catch, and had some intent in throws. Longer arm action from a three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 77 mph.
