MD Preseason All State
5-foot-8, 160-pound solid athletic frame. Athletic open stance from the right side with a small leg lift to striding closed. Hands have some rhythm on load and move back to a slight arm bar. Hands were quick, bat path was slightly uphill, and swing showed some gap to gap power potential. Lower half finishes completely with some aggression and a high one hand finish. Exit velocity was 87 mph. Under control on approach, solid glove presentation, with a clean exchange to a shorter arm action. Had some arm speed and threw from a high three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 80 mph. Home-1st was 4.28.
MD Top Prospect Games II
Athletic, compact body type and 5-foot-8, 160 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, slightly open stance at the plate. Smooth back load and small leg kick. Explosive lower half involvement and maintains excellent balance throughout swing. Gets nice extension and showed quick hands and fast bat speed. Short, slightly uphill swing path with an exit velo of 84 mph. Used the entire field during BP and showed gap-to-gap power. Athletic and plays through the ball in the outfield with fluid footwork and a quick, clean exchange. Long arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot at 84 mph. Ran a 4.51 home-to-first time.
