Maryland Preseason All-State Session II
Body: 6’0’’, 205 pounds. Strong, physical frame with durability.
Hit: RHH. Balanced, slightly bent stance with the hands starting at a 45 over the head. Utilized a deliberate leg lift stride early in ball flight to initiating the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone. Held mostly moderate posture throughout while hitting into a stiff front side at impact. Recorded a 62% line drive rate via Trackman Baseball and a 305 foot peak batted ball distance. Mostly middle of the field approach and did the most damage when getting the bat extended out at the front of the plate.
Power: 96 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Doubles power with a middle of the order profile.
Arm: RH. INF - 76 mph. Short, high ¾ slot with accuracy across.
Defense: Adequate footwork; prep hop for timing, arrived on time at the fielding window with some range to the glove hand side, approached off the middle of his body with the setup and funneled inward to the chest; average pace.
Run: 7.78 60-yard time.
