Body: 6’3”, 235 pounds. Big, strong, physical frame.
Hit: LHH. Hits from a tall, slightly closed stance at the plate from the left side. Smooth knee-to-knee back load. Short, tight, compact uphill swing with extension past contact and one-handed finish. Stays behind the ball with limited lower half involvement. Strong hands and showed a pull-side approach.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Power to the pull-side evident with more projected with freeing up and incorporating the lower half into the swing.
Arm: LH. INF - 67 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a three-quarter slot.
Defense: Active footwork in approach to the ball. Fields it out in front and showed clean transfers on double play feeds to second base.
