Uncommitted, 6’ even 177lb sturdy frame with some strength present. The left-handed pitcher really impressed during his start. The delivery was incredibly smooth and easy throughout, and the arm speed impressed. He ran the fastball in at 84-86 throughout his outing, touching 87. The pitch featured a decent amount of run and quality command. Antwerpen went to the slider as his primary secondary offering, throwing it in the 76-77 range with a good amount of sweep and good feel to land. He also mixed in a changeup thrown at 76-80 with feel to manipulate shape. Overall, there’s strong pitchability traits present here with 3 solid pitches and some blossoming arm speed. Lots of projection left.
