Athletic, solid body type and 5-foot-10, 175 pound frame with room to grow, Hits from a taller, balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. Quiet with minimal extra movement and some lower half involvement. Short stride and a short fluid rhythm load with hands. Stays behind the ball well and showed excellent balance throughout swing. Quick hands and fast bat speed with an exit velo of 81 mph. Short, level swing path squaring up numerous balls in BP. Gap-to-gap line drives type hitter with occasional pop. Athletic and plays through the ball in the outfield. Quick exchange with a slight glove tap. Long arm action throwing from a high three-quarters slot at 72 mph. Ran a 4.13 home-to-first time from the left side.
FL Preseason All-State 1.27.2018
Strength over athleticism build and currently stands at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. Corner infielder/outfielder physical profile. Gap-to-gap approach with a quick bat and strength from the left side. Flashes pull-side power which projects well. Added athleticism and body control should help develop more consistent, hard contact. Has ability to spray ball to all fields. Registered an 89 mph exit velocity in the cage. From the outfield he showed a quick first step and topped out at 74 mph on his throws to the bag. Clocked in at 7.13 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.
