Projectable frame at 6-foot-5, 215-pounds. Hits from the right side with a wide square base, heel lift to stride, and lands square. Hands load back to a slight bat wrap, short flat bath to contact, and had a line drive tendency. Used the middle and back side of the field well. Has some power potential built into the frame. Exit velocity was 88 mph. Works off the bag high, glove presents out front, and clean exchange. Full arm circle and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot at 74 mph across. Ran a 8.27 60. On the mound Alvey worked primarily from the stretch. Average leg lift, hips and shoulders level, and lands closed at stride. Full arm action and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a recoil on finish. Fastball sat 71-74 mph and was downhill. Curveball showed 11/5 shape and sat 60-61 mph with ability to throw it for strikes.
