During his rounds, Achorn showed the ability to use the whole field and make solid contact. During the games, he put together great at bats and showed the ability to drive plus velocity. Defensively, Achorn is a fluid defender in the middle of the diamond. His hands are soft, he covers ground and the arm plays. On the mound, he uses a simple delivery. He’s in line with home plate and uses a long, higher ¾ slot. He locates well and showed the feel for his secondary pitches.
