Started in a crouched athletic stance with a tight load, then used a short stride. Had a level simple swing plane and a balanced finish. Line drive approach. Smooth from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 81 mph; shows choppy in control footwork, and a fluid exchange. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were athletic. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.92. Solid on the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a clean arm action while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands soft. Changeup (71-72 mph). Sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph; had command in the zone and running action with tight movement. (Max spin 2265; Avg 2085).
