Brandon Rice: RHP/SS, (2022) Utica Eisenhower, MI. 6-foot, 165-pound. Capable during batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in an open stance with a quick load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed is quick, displays a simple flat swing plane and level finish. He barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 84 mph. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.38. Athletic on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action with electric arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows max effort. Showed athletic balance point with falling off shoulders. Shows a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 86-88 mph; throws a heavy fastball with tailing action and occasional control. Had occasional control and sinking action on his tight changeup (82-83). His sharp slider (75-77) shows late action and decent control.

Pitching: Athletic. Up-tempo delivery, max effort. ¾ arm angle, electric arm speed, long arm action. Athletic balance point, falling off shoulders, a falling off finish.
FB: T88. 86-88 mph. (Max spin 2438; Avg 2330). Occasional accuracy, tailing action, heavy movement.
CH: 82-83 mph. Occasional control, sinking action, tight movement.
SL: 75-77 mph. Decent control, late action, sharp movement.
Hitting: Left hand hitter shows a smooth hand load and an approach at the plate. Bat stays in the zone making hard contact. Drove the ball consistently. Has a feel for the barrel. High level bat.
Pitching: Works quick on the mound with an aggressive approach. Raises hands above his head throwing from a 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 75-77 mph. 64-66 mph sweeping curve.
