Setup consists of a balanced athletic stance and a controlled load. Had a rotational long swing plane, average bat speed and level finish. He barreled up lots of balls with a lot of loud contact. Line drive approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 76 mph. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 82 mph. From an-over-the-top slot, showed decent accuracy to the base with a short quick arm action. Smooth on the mound, showed some arm speed with an over-the-top arm angle and a short arm action. Stretch only type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed low balance point and in line shoulders. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Started in a narrow crouched stance with a wrapping handsy load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was raw developing, and had an an inside-out swing plane. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Capable projectable in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 83 mph; had developing consistent hands, rhythmic fluid footwork, and a fluid lengthy exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Solid capable on the mound, showed an over-the-top high ¾ arm angle and a quick loose arm action with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Displays even shoulders and a low balance point. Lands closed with recoil balanced finish. (Max spin 2002; Avg 1927).
