High leg kick and uses his back side well. Live arm with a whippy 3/4 arm slot. FB has good ASR. SL has good movement to it. Tall upright stance with a big leg kick. Gets the barrel through the zone well and works up the middle and to the back side.
Bryce Simpson: LHP, (2025) Algonac, MI. 6-foot-1, 160-pound. Started in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a small leg kick short. Had average bat speed, short swing plane and level finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Up the middle approach. Capable in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 73 mph; has consistent feet, a quick exchange, and sure soft hands. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front.
