Started in a tall narrow stance with a tight load, then used a closed small leg kick. Bat speed is above average, has an upward swing plane and a back foot finish. He found some barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 68 mph. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Chase Monzo: SS/RHP, (2025) Holt, MI. 5-foot-11, 150-pound. (53.8 mph bat speed average). (17.1 mph hand speed average). Sets up in a balanced stance and used a toe tap stride. Uphill swing plane. Pull side line drive approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 70 mph; shows choppy in control feet, a natural exchange, and developing hands. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 72 mph; shows developing hands, choppy feet, and a natural exchange. When fielding he gathers the ball deep.
