Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Smooth while in the infield, made throws up to 84 mph; showed a clean exchange, soft hands, and smooth feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.13. Projectable on the mound, had a loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort.
