Swing: At the plate shows a balanced set up taking an aggressive front foot stride hitting against his front side. Uphill swing with lift. 85 mph exit velocity with a wood bat.

Sparks is a big time defensive catcher. 5-foot-10, 190-pound catching prospect has quick feet and a fast release behind the plate. Showcased an 80 mph arm while popping a 1.92-1.95 pop time. At the plate is a strong hitter who squares up the ball. Drives liners to left and center consistently. Good pop in the swing.

5-foot-10, 180 pound strong framed catcher had an impressive day at the event. Arguably the most impressive workout on the day. Behind the plate received with his throwing hand behind the glove showing a quick glove to hand transfer. Quick feet behind the plate and an accurate throwing arm. Very strong defensive blocking skills. Good feel for blocking. At 3B moves light on his feet, fielding the ball into his body, taking a step and throwing across the infield. From an upright, slightly open stance moves in rhythm making hard contact at the plate. Good feel for the barrel, spraying the diamond with line drives.
