(22.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall stance with a high load, then uses a short toe tap stride. Has efficient bat speed, level swing plane and balanced finish. Pull side line drive approach. Solid showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 85 mph; had a clean exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. Uses his glove out front. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.5. Smooth athletic on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a short consistent arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed tall strong balance point with even shoulders. Lands open with balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-82 mph and topped out at 83 mph; had command in the zone and tailing action with heavy movement. (Max spin 1846; Avg 1758).
