Joshua Klug: RHP/3B, (2023) Traverse City Central, MI. Louisville Commit, 6-foot, 195-pound. Athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 97 mph, 3rd Best EV of the day. Started in an open balanced stance with a arm bar load, then used a toe tap. Has a level loose swing plane, electric bat speed and level finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Up the middle approach. Smooth in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 91 mph; had rhythmic footwork, a clean exchange, and consistent hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.37. Advanced on the mound, used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing electric arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses high effort. Showed tall balance point and in line shoulders. Has an athletic finish. Changeup (80-82 mph).Sat with his fastball at 87-89 mph; shows arm side command and running action with heavy movement. Showed consistent command and swing and miss action on his sharp curveball (77-78). Threw a heavy splitter with sinking action and low in the zone control.

Hit: (RHH) Begins in an open balanced stance with a arm bar load, then uses a toe tap. Electric bat speed. Level finish, level loose swing. Up the middle approach. 

Power: 97 mph exit velocity, average 86.38 mph. Top 3 ev at the showcase. 

Defense:  (IF) Consistent hands, rhythmic footwork, clean exchange. Smooth.  Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. 

Arm: 91 mph infield velocity. Short arm action, high ¾ slot, decent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.37 (60-yard).

Pitching: Advanced. Up-tempo delivery, high effort. High ¾ arm angle, electric arm speed, compact arm action. Tall balance point, in line shoulders, an athletic finish.

Joshua Klug: C/RHP, (2023) Traverse City Central, MI. 5-foot-11, 195-pound. During batting practice, Klug had an exit velocity of 91 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. While catching, recorded pop times of 2.02-2.05, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 75 mph. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.86. On the mound, threw his fastball 82-84 mph with a max of 85 mph. Curveball (69-71 mph), splitter (75-76 mph).

Pitching:On the mound a stronger lower half prospect has a quick arm and throws a heavy ball with arm side run. Commands the zone well racking up strikeouts and mixing in a hard breaking ball. Struck out 2 out of 3 batters he faced. Has more velocity in the tank as he drives more off the hill. 

Hitting: Big time power hitter that drives the ball consistently. Crushed multiple balls with loud contact off the barrel. A bat that will play at any level. 

Hitting: At the plate a physical right hand hitter stands 5-foot-11, 185 pounds rest the bat over his back shoulder uses a toe tap load generating bat speed. Strong wrist at the plate showed the ability to drive the ball. Advanced hitter for his class. 94 mph exit velocity. 

Fielding: Behind the dish sets up with his left leg in front receiving close to his body, quickly coming out of the shoot throwing down to 2B. 2.06-2.13 pop time. In the infield shows agile hips working around the ball, tends to field deeper into his body taking a step and throwing across the diamond 86 mph.
