5-foot-11, 180 pounds with an average frame.  Throws through a high 3/4 slot with short arm action.  Raw arm. Fastball sat between 86-88 mph on the mound.  Consistently kept the fastball down in the zone.  His 72-74 mph curveball shows gradual 10/4 movement.  His best offspeed pitch is his 75-77 mph changeup; the pitch features plus sink while being thrown with near fastball arm speed.  Would increase effectiveness if he worked on developing a slider.

Hentschel has really popped onto the scene and has scene his stock rise substantially.  The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Hentschel shows raw athleticism and an above average arm. Across the diamond he was 87mph.  Hentschel has soft hands but needs to improve his footwork.  At the plate, Hentschel has more power potential if he can better incorporate his lower half. His setup is balanced with a smooth load. His hands work well and he gets the bat head through. Overall Hentschel's performance can be summed up as productive with plenty of potential.
