6-foot-0, 185 pounds with a solid, athletic frame. Offers plenty of tools, and could very well be a two-way guy at the next level. Throws through a high 3/4 slot with quick arm speed. Everything seems to come natural for Swiss. In the field, he shows fluid/quick footwork while taking good angles to the ball. Also displays softness in hands, and a plus arm (topped out at 84 mph). Clocked in a 6.88 60 yard dash time. At the plate, the right handed uses an open setup with small leg kick type stride. Rotational mechanics. Using a slightly uphill bat path, he consistently barreled pitches driving them to all parts of the field. Swing is somewhat violent, while producing plus bat speed. Gap to gap type production. Reached a top exit velocity of 85 mph off the tee. On the mound, he throws through a 3/4 slot with long arm action. Plus arm speed, and uses a clean repeatable motion. Fastball features some natural cutting action while sitting between 85-86 mph. His breaking ball shows sharp slurvy like movement, while sitting between 71-72 mph. Also has a 75-76 mph changeup.

We have seen Swiss three times over the past two months and he is certainly growing on us. The 6-foot-2 Swiss is more physical than we first thought. He has a good motor. In the infield he moved well and showed good hands. He also has an above-average arm across the diamond at 83mph. He does wind up to get rid of it. At the plate he won’t get cheated. Swiss takes a big hack but is rewarded with good pop. He was one of the best runners at the event as well clocking in a 6.82. On the mound he has a quick arm and did a nice job of keeping the ball down. Fastball ranged between 81-83mph. High follow.

Good overall athlete. Above average runner. Physically is put together well at 6-foot-1, 171-pounds. Still has more strength to gain. Above average arm across the diamond (81mph). Quick feet and soft hands in the infield. At the plate has more of sit and spin mechanics. Used whole field well. Steeper path. Looks to lift the ball. In game action picked up an RBI basehit to left and had hard contact in another at bat. Good player to follow for sure. Natural instincts.
