Matthew Cousino: RHP/OF, (2021) Hudsonville, MI. 6-foot-1, 190-pound. During batting practice, Cousino showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 94 mph. From the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 77 mph. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.31. On the mound, threw his fastball 79-81 mph and topped out at 81 mph. Curveball (68-70 mph).
Pitching: On the mound shows a quick leg lift waist high throwing with a short arm action. Commands the outer half of the plate while producing a lot of ground balls. Hard to square up his pitches due to a heavy feel. Sinking feel on his change up. 11/5 shape on the breaking ball.
