Michael Jones: LHP/OF, (2023) Western international high school, MI. 5-foot-8, 132-pound. Athletic in the box, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 74 mph. Starts in a tall stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is above average, displays a rotational swing plane and high finish. He found a few barrels with some loud contact. Opposite field approach. From the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 70 mph. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.5. Athletic on the mound, used a side arm angle and a very quick arm action while showing good arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Has an athletic balance point and even shoulders. Lands soft with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 68-70 mph; has consistent control and cutting action. His tight slider (56-58) had command low in the zone and some action.
