Body: 5-foot-9, 150-pounds. Wiry build.
Hit: RHH. Tall, slightly open set-up, smooth hand load, leg kick into long stride, balanced finish. Level bat path, extension through the baseball, loose hands, quick bat speed, natural lift.
Power: 91 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Long arm action, high 3/4 release, accurate.
Defense: Plays through the baseball with tempo, glove presentation present.
Run: 7.47 runner in the 60.

Hitting: Tall stance with a small open stance. Works the opposite field often. Hits the ball off his barrel. Top hand release.

5-foot-8, 145-pound pitching prospect. In his delivery he shifts side to side on the mound causing inconsistencies in his delivery. He would benefit from staying directional toward the plate by being able to repeat the same movement every time. Zappia throws a fastball at 69-72 mph. Curveball shows heavy break on a 12/6 plane at 58-65 mph. His Changeup was thrown at 67 with minimal movement. As Zappia matures he could see improvements on the mound. In the outfield ball skills are on par for his age. Clean transfer upon fielding through the baseball while staying under control. Arm works through a near high ¾ slot and should continue to develop. A righty swinger that starts in a tall, open setup. Leg kick load as hands stay simple prior to launch. Launches from a balanced position taking a slightly downhill path to contact. Offers a balanced combo of strength and speed to swing. Line drive guy with sneaky pop in there. Got better as the round went on.
