Speed: 7.58 (60-yard).
Strong framed catcher is one of two 2023 prospects on team Michigan. Showed a strong throwing arm at 3b with patience in the field taking a step and firing 90 mph across the diamond. At the plate has an aggressive swing path that showed well during his second round of BP. Posted a 95 mph exit velocity. Behind the dish popped a 1.94 while displaying an accurate throwing arm.
Fielding: One of the better catch and throw guys in the state. Comes quickly out of the shoot showing a strong throwing arm down to 2B. 1.92-1.95 pop time while throwing 78 mph.
Hitting: Shows a small knee bend keeping his weight balanced while exploding towards the ball. Fast hands and raw power potential. Crushed a few balls over 340 feet during BP. 95 mph exit velocity.
Pitching: On the mound sets up in the center of the rubber. Takes a step left using a toe tap and throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Change up was thrown with similar arm speed as the fastball while fading. Slider showed a progressive break 72- 74 mph. Arm side run on the fastball 80-81 mph.
Hitting: At the plate sets up with a small open stance with a slight crouch showing hand motion. Barrel is to the ball quickly making loud contact. Crushed a few balls at the plate with an aggressive approach.
Fielding: In the infield starts off tall working towards the ball has a small glove pat as he approaches the ball. Fields the ball into his body showing glove ability taking a step and throwing from a 3/4 arm angle.
