Two way with a 6-4 frame and upside at the plate. Shows a smooth load and good extension producing top exit velo on 96. Good footwork at 1B with some slick glovework and a strong arm at 87 MPH. Interesting follow on the mound with good present size. Worked more 83-85 with FB but ran the pitch up to 87. Struck out 3 in 2 innings showing a curve 70-75 and a changeup 74-76.
Nolan Laskey: 1B/RHP, (2024) Bedford, MI. 6-foot-4, 200-pound. Capable raw during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 93 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed was developing, had a level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through the round he found a couple of barrels. Line drive approach. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 84 mph; showed smooth feet, a quick exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball deep, movements laterally were average. From an-over-the-top slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a longer loose arm action. On the mound, curveball (68-74 mph), changeup (68-70 mph). Threw his fastball 80-83 mph and topped out at 85 mph; (Max spin ; Avg ).
Nolan Laskey: C/RHP, (2024) Bedford, MI. 6-foot-2, 180-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 91 mph. Bat speed is above average and exhibits an upward swing plane. During his round he produced some loud contact and found some barrels. Pull side approach. While catching, throw downs to second were maxed at 74 mph. Behind the plate, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 74 mph; Had a pop time of 2.04-2.09. Solid on the mound, using a long arm action he showed good arm speed from an over-the-top arm angle. Showed some effort in his delivery. Even shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands square. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-77 mph and topped out at 78 mph; Showed a 11/5 curveball (66-67) with late action.

Behind the plate, produced pop times of 2.07-2.17, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 65 mph. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 64 mph. On the mound, threw his fastball 67-69 mph and topped out at 71 mph. Curveball (59-61 mph).
Pitching: On the mound shows a clean arm action working from a 3/4 slot. FB has life working low in the zone. Curve has some break, shows as a 12/6.
Fielding: In the infield at 3B shows a strong feel for around the ball showing lateral movement well to both sides. Quick throwing arm.
Hitting: At the plate has a wide base keeping his hands letter height showing a quick hand load turning his hips quickly making solid contact. Has the ability to drive the ball with authority.
Pitching: On the mound sets up with a wide base on the rubber. Steps cleanly moving to his balance point throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Curve shows a 12/6 break with a gradual break 64-66 mph. Fastball had arm side run sitting 74-76 mph. Change up was thrown with a slightly slower than the fastball 64-66 mph.
Fielding: In the field spreads his arms wide as he approaches the bar. Fields the bar into his body taking a quick stop and throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle.
Hitting: At the plate sets up with a balance stance using a knee band with hand movement. Move the hands back during the low showing a short compact swing. Drove some balls to the opposite field with authority shows a high finish with a two hand swing.
