Ramsey Bousseau: SS/C, (2023) Olivet, MI. 5-foot-9, 150-pound lean frame. Athletic in the box, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 84 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick to initiate his swing. Had explosive bat speed, simple swing plane and high finish. He created some loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive approach. Athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 76 mph; has sure hands, athletic feet and a clean exchange. Athletic from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 78 mph; had soft hands, consistent footwork and a clean exchange. Used a quick arm action and a ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.85.
131 Hitting At the plate sets up with a balance stance from a crouched stance while keeping his hands back. Ball jumps off of that well producing line drives up the middle. Create some live during his swing.
Fielding: In the infield a sure handed field or use a preparation step prior to moving towards the mall gets around the baseball clean, working through it taking a step and throwing over the top.
Hitting: At the plate leans back showing a toe tap load at the plate using a two hand swing. Worked the pulls side. Not attempting to do too much. Taking advantage of what the pitcher gave him.
Fielding: Working out in the middle infield has a calm approach setting up low allowing the ball to come fielding out front while funneling the ball into his body with sure hands. Takes a step and throws with some effort across the diamond from a 3/4 arm angle.
