Ryan Jarvis: 1B/LHP, (2023) Dakota, MI. 5-foot-11, 167-pound. Athletic at the plate, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. Began in a wide stance with a quick smooth load, then used a toe tap. Has explosive bat speed, level swing plane and high finish. Had a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Pull side approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 81 mph; had smooth consistent footwork, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. Showed decent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action and a ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.44 at the event. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed with a long arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a tall balance point with even shoulders. Shows a clean finish. Changeup (70-71 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 75-76 mph and topped out at 77 mph; had slight running action and decent control with tight movement. Has sweeping action and some command on his 10/4 curveball (65-68).
